Carmichaels Girls of the Month announced for November, December

The Carmichaels Area Junior-Senior High School announced the Girls of the Month for both November and December.
Micaela Ricco, daughter of Tom and Carrie Ricco of Carmichaels, was named the senior high school’s Girl of the Month for November.
In school Ricco, a senior, is the secretary of National honors Society, works on the newspaper’s staff, is a varsity cheer captain, plays volleyball and is a member of both chemistry club and student council.
In her free time, she studies all forms of dance at For the Love of Dance in Carmichaels, works as a shift leader at the Carmichaels Dairy Queen, goes to First United Methodist Church, competitively dances and plays for the Quest Volleyball Academy. She also assistant teaches at For the Love of Dance.
Ricco plans to attend California University to major in business and marketing.
Meighan Spishock
Meighan Spishock, daughter of Tom and Francee Spishock of Carmichaels, was named the Girl of the Month for December.
In school, the senior is in National Honors Society, art club, chemistry club and S.A.D.D.: Students Against Destructive Decisions. She also is a varsity cheer captain and a varsity volleyball captain.
Spishock works at the Carmichaels Dairy Queen and goes to St. Hugh’s Church, where she has been an alter server for six years. She’s been dancing for 14 years and has played club volleyball for the past three years.
Spishock plans to attend Penn State Altoona to pursue a bachelor’s in nursing.
