Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some needs are:

• A Canonsburg senior woman needs friendly visits and help with shopping.
• A senior Washington woman needs rides to treatment and doctor on an as-needed basis.
• A middle-aged Washington woman with disabilities needs help with grocery shopping monthly. She is unable to lift more than 10 pounds.
• A Claysville couple needs transportation for grocery shopping, appointments and occasional rides to the Houston/Canonsburg area.
• A Houston-area senior woman needs someone to take her clothes to the laundromat once a month.
• A Monongahela senior woman who uses a walker needs rides to various appointments in the Mon Valley on as-needed basis.
