During Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 28-Feb. 3, St. Patrick School, Canonsburg, celebrated Hero Day by hosting real-life heroes for lunch. Students were allowed to dress as their favorite superheroes while they ate with Canonsburg and Peters Township police officers, Canonsburg firefighters, Fort Cherry Ambulance EMTs and two nurses from the community. The officers talked about their jobs and students were invited to tour an ambulance. Students also wrote letters to soldiers enlisted in the military.
