If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, you can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent.

Some needs are:

• A senior Washington woman needs someone to do her grocery shopping for her. She is on the third floor of an apartment building.
• A Canonsburg senior woman needs friendly visits and help with shopping.
• A senior Washington woman needs rides to treatment and doctor’s appointments on an as-needed basis.
• A Claysville couple needs transportation for grocery shopping, appointments and occasional rides to Houston/Canonsburg area.
• A middle-aged Washington woman with no car and limited lifting ability needs grocery shopping assistance and rides to the store.
• A Monongahela senior woman who uses a walker needs rides to various appointments in the Mon Valley on as-needed basis.
