First United Methodist Church, 29 N. College Ave., Washington, will host Wednesday Lenten Lunches beginning Feb. 21, featuring a homemade lunch, music and a spiritually-enriching message. This year’s theme is “Sacred Space” and will explore what it means to make space in life for Lent and Lenten practices. Pastors from West Washington and Jefferson Avenue UMC, John Wesley UMC, Avery UMC, Washington District of the UMC, and First UMC will lead. Lunch will be served at 11:45 a.m. and the service will last an hour. Suggested donation for lunch is $5. Proceeds benefit the building fund. For information, call 724-222-2520.
