If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, you can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some needs are:

• A Canonsburg senior woman needs someone to get her groceries at the store.
• A Charleroi senior woman needs help with grocery shopping, dishes and laundry.
• A Claysville senior with disabilities needs help going to appointments in Pleasant Hills several times per year.
• A Monongahela senior woman who uses a walker needs rides to various appointments in the Mon Valley.
• A Wolfdale senior woman needs rides to the bank and grocery store.

Contact Faith in Action by calling 724-223-5115 ext. 1203 for more details. The office is staffed part-time and someone will call you back. All volunteers are trained and screened.
