If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, you can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some needs are:

• A Washington senior woman needs rides to church and assistance with shopping.
• A Canonsburg senior woman needs someone to take her clothes to the laundromat once a month. She has no washer or dryer in her home.
• A Charleroi senior woman needs help with grocery shopping, dishes and laundry.
• A Monongahela senior woman who uses a walker needs rides to various appointments in the Mon Valley on an as-needed basis.
• A Wolfdale senior woman needs rides to the bank and grocery store once or twice a month.

All volunteers are trained and screened.
