A spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Claysville Christian Church. The menu includes spaghetti, salad, garlic toast, dessert and beverage. Cost is a donation. Takeout orders will be available.
Waynesburg Senior Center, 1505 Morris St., will hold a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 3. Cost is $8 per meal and takeout orders will be available. For tickets, call 724-627-6366.
Active Christian Seniors at Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church will host a bus trip March 15 to Amish county in Sugarcreek, Ohio. A bus will depart at 7:30 a.m. from the church parking lot at 112 W. Pike St. The tour will include a scavenger hunt at Walnut Creek Amish Flea Market, candle carving at Lamp and Light Candle, a buffet lunch and the show “When Irish Eyes are Smiling” at the Amish Country Theatre. The bus will return at about6:30 p.m. Cost is $113 per person. Reservations and down payment of at least half can be made with the church office. The STAR Center at Allegheny Health Network will offer free two-hour “Friends and Family CPR and AED” classes Feb. 10. The classes will take place in the STAR Center, 4900 Friendship Ave.; Forbes Hospital Learning Center 3 & 4; and at Canonsburg Hospital McNary Conference Center, 100 Medical Blvd., Canonsburg. The two-hour course will be offered beginning each hour, with the first course starting at 9 a.m. and the last at 1 p.m. at the STAR Center; first course starting at 9 a.m. and the last at 11 a.m at Forbes Hospital; first course starting at 9 a.m. and the last at noon at Canonsburg Hospital. Pre-register to ensure a space; walk-ins will be accepted if space is available. The class is not a certification course.
