Drivers honored by authority

The Washington County Transportation Authority (Freedom Transit) honored three outstanding team members as “Driver of the Year” during the Jan. 9 board meeting. The honor was received by individuals who provided exceptional customer service and held a clean driver record throughout 2017. Board Chairman Rich Shriver presented the honors to Sam Miller, Sam Zehel and William Pratt.
