Butterfly release will honor loved ones

Concordia Hospice of Washington will host a Memorial Butterfly Release at 2 p.m. Aug. 25 at The Barn at Ike’s Place, 80 Ikes Road, Amity.

This first-time event is for anyone who wants to honor the memory of their loved ones. The cost is $10 for a butterfly. Registration to reserve a butterfly is required by Saturday by calling Joyce at 724-250-4500. Checks should be made payable to Concordia Hospice of Washington, 10 Leet St., Washington PA 15301.

Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. followed by musical performances and the release.
