Retirement village to host veteran’s event

North Strabane Retirement Village, 200 Tandem Village Road, Canonsburg, will host a veteran’s appreciation event from 10 a.m. to noon June 9.

The Young Marines will present the colors and perform a flag-raising ceremony. There will also be patriotic songs and refreshments.
