Clark – 65 years
Arthur Wayne and Maryann Clark of Houston celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary today.
Mr. and Mrs. Clark were married June 19, 1953, in South Central Church in Canonsburg.
Their children are Dan (Sharon) Stopperich of Twinsburg, Ohio; Cindy (Bob) Culp of Houston, Dianna Shymchyk of Meadow Lands, Art Clark of Washington and Tina Kraeer of Houston.
Their grandchildren are Bryan Kelly, DJ Stopperich, Stephanie Frank, Bob Culp, Ashley Layton, Jason Ilgenfritz, Cory Clark, Matt Clark, Wayne Kraeer and Tonya Michtak.
They have 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Clark served as a Marine Presidential Guard in Washington, D.C., during the Eisenhower term. He retired from Cooper Power (formerly McGraw Edison) and currently enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting and playing in euchre tournaments.
The couple are members of the First U.P. Church of Houston, where Maryann enjoys her time with the Special Needs Sunday School class when she is not caring for her family.
