Baking contest deadlines approaching

The rules for the annual baking contests at the Jacktown Fair – to be held July 17- and the Greene County Fair – to be held Aug. 6 – have been announced.

Complete rules for the Incredible Angel Food Cake, Apple Pie, Homemade Chocolate Cake and PA Preferred Junior Baking contests can be obtained by contacting Melody Burns at 724-428-3617 for the Jacktown Fair and Jean Scott at 724-627-9756 for the Greene County Fair. The Greene County Fair entry deadline is Saturday.
