Property Tax Rent Rebate Outreach, hosted by state Rep. Jason Ortitay, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Heritage Public Library, 52 Fourth Street, McDonald. The event was postponed because of Wednesday’s inclement weather. The program benefits eligible Pennsylvanians who are 65 years of age or older, widows and widowers 50 years old or older, and those 18 years of age with disabilities. West Virginia Public Theatre announces “Peter and the Starcatcher” and “A Hatful of Rain” as its 2018 summer shows. “Peter and the Starcatcher,” which runs June 1-10, is a prequel to “Peter Pan.” “A Hatful of Rain,” running June 22-30, is a redemptive family drama Auditions will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday in Pittsburgh, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday in Morgantown. In addition to bringing a current resume and headshot to the audition, actors will need to prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary comedic monologue and 32 bars of a song with sheet music. Woodville Plantation, Bridgeville, kicks off its 2018 season with an opening day celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. The living history museum will be closed April 1, May 27 and Nov. 25. The season runs through Dec. 9. For information, visit www.woodvilleplantation.org.

Fair Districts PA, a nonpartisan citizens group working for electoral redistricting reform, will host a public education program on reforming Pennsylvania’s redistricting process. The event will take place at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Chartiers-Houston Public Library. Fair Districts PA speaker Joseph McLaughlin will explain PA’s current redistricting process, demonstrate how it undermines democracy, and offer a solution to the problem.
