Washington School District will host a technology event, “A Fun Night at the Races,” from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Junior High rooms 021 and SB03.

Teachers Jay Huss and Tyler Phillips, with the support of Suzanne Price, will host the event, which is open to students, parents, staff and the community.

Participants will work with many types of robotics, including Lego Mindstorm and VEX EDR, gaining experience in robotics, engineering, technology and science. A final end-of-training project will bring groups together to showcase their abilities.
