Gloria (Bainbridge) Schneider of Washington celebrated her 90th birthday early with an overnight family trip to Cumberland, Md., to ride the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. While there, she spent the afternoon at the spa, then had dinner at D’Atri Italian Restaurant. A birthday party with family and friends is also planned on Easter Sunday evening, at Strabane Trails Village.

She was born April 1, 1928, in Uniontown.

Her husband is Louis Schneider, whom she married in 1957 in Chicago, Ill.

The couple have three children, Samuel (Tina), William (Donna) and Gary (Debbie). They also have nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Gloria is a retired homemaker and doll maker.
