If you can help someone an hour or two a week, or a month, your time can make an impact. Faith in Action, one of TRPIL’s services, needs caring volunteers to assist senior citizens or individuals with disabilities to remain independent. Some recent requests are:

• West Alexander senior needs rides to Washington three days a week for dialysis. The family is willing to reimburse gas costs.
• A Washington woman with several disabling health issues needs rides to the store and appointments throughout the month.
• A Washington senior veteran needs rides and escort assistance to appointments. He uses a walker and needs help getting in and out of cars.
• A Claysville/West Alexander couple needs help with caregiver relief on an occasional basis.
• A Prosperity man needs rides and assistance getting into an office in McMurray to receive radiation treatment. Rides are needed immediately for three weeks, five days a week.
