The Washington County Democratic Committee has rescheduled its reorganization meeting. It will now be held from 1 to 4 p.m. June 9 at VFW Post 191 located at 539 W. Pike Street in Canonsburg. The meeting was originally scheduled for Sunday. Candidates for committee office will be given three minutes to speak and voting will take place immediately. Mon Valley NAACP, Unit 2274, will host an Employment Town Hall meeting on Thursday at the Donora Library, 510 Meldon Ave. Local NAACP members, along with personnel from Career Links and the Mon Valley Alliance, will provide those who are seeking employment and those who would like to seek a better job with information on how to enhance individual marketing skills.

Dunkard Creek Watershed Association Inc. will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the red barn at Mason-Dixon Historical Park on Buckeye Road in Core, W.Va. The agenda will include a pending grant, fish reports and possible fish stocking. For information, contact 304-816-2669.

Trinity Area School District will serve a free snack at 10 a.m. and free lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to any child up to age 18 as part of the Summer Feeding Program sponsored by USDA. Meals will be served Monday through Thursday, beginning June 4. Adult meals are available for $3.70. Participants should arrive at Trinity Senior High School and enter thru door No. 26. Mon Valley YMCA Active Adults will hold a school bus trip to Rivers Casino on June 7. Pick-up is at 9 a.m. at the Charleroi Chamber parking lot. The Washington Salvation Army will hold Summer Leap, a five-week learning enrichment adventure program for children entering kindergarten through sixth grade and focusing on math, reading and science skills while exercising the creative side of their brains. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 11-15 (Session 1), June 18-22 (Session 2), June 25-29 (Session 3), July 9-13 (Session 4) and July 16-20 (Session 5). YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh offers weekly summer day camps from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 11-Aug. 24 at North Strabane Park, Canonsburg, for children ages 6-15. Before and after care is available at no additional charge. Camps focus on having fun while learning and building self-esteem and social skills through new activities. Weekly themes vary.
