Stultz – Verno

Kayleigh Ann Verno, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Verno of Washington, and Matthew Lawrence Stultz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Stultz of Washington, were married at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland. The Very Rev. Samuel J. Esposito served as the officiant. A reception followed at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott.

Ashley Verno, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, and Eric Stultz, brother of the groom, was the best man. Bridesmaids included Chelsea Denman, Rachel Dziak and Abby Fitzpatrick. Groomsmen included Brian Holt, Steven Miller and Robert Pruce.

The bride is a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is currently a para-educator at South Fayette Middle School. Previously, she worked as a paraprofessional aid at The Watson Institute. She is also a frequent performer in various community theater groups and has been an assistant director for youth theater productions at Mon River Arts in Elizabeth.

The groom is a graduate of West Virginia University and Duquesne University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s degree in community leadership, nonprofit management. Currently, he serves as the corporate relations and communication specialist at Waynesburg University, and is a member of the 2019 class of Leadership Washington County. He is the vice president of the Washington Symphony Orchestra board of directors, a member of the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale board of directors and a stage manager at Mon River Arts.

The couple is planning a 2019 honeymoon to Croatia.
