Martha Washington Quilters Guild will hold its monthly business meeting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, on the third floor of Church of the Covenant, 276 East Beau St., Washington, followed by “show and tell” and a presentation by Katy Robinson called “Dresdens for Dummies.” Guests are welcome.

The Washington Hospital Auxiliary will welcome Applelicious, a locally owned and operated gourmet apples and treats business based in Carnegie, for an Applelicious Sale from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in the Community Room at the hospital. All proceeds benefit the Washington Health System.

Peters Township is once again participating with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in collecting Toys for Tots this holiday season. Collection boxes are located at the Community Recreation Center and at the library. New, unwrapped gifts for children from infancy to 14 years may be placed in the collection boxes anytime through Dec. 14. For more information, call the Recreation Center at 724-942-5000.
