Robinson – McConnell
Melina McConnell and G. Adam Robinson were united in marriage October 13, 2018, at Old St. Luke’s Church in Carnegie. The Rev. Sue Petritis officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are Irk and Cathy Jo McConnell of Southview. Her grandparents are the late Kenneth and Tootie McElhaney, and the late Irk and Francis McConnell.
Parents of the bridegroom are Paul and Connie Robinson of Monongahela. His grandparents are the late George Thomas and Sarah Elizabeth Bright, and the late Alexander and Louise Robinson.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Maid of honor was Lainie Klinsky of Southview, cousin and best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sierra McConnell of Oakdale, sister of the bride; Mary Beth Heckman of Lone Pine, sister of the groom; Raychel Renk of Charleroi, sister of the groom; Mandi Roberts of Charleroi, best friend of the bride; and Lacie Klinsky of Southview, cousin of the bride.
Flower girls were Sophia Renk, Audrey Heckman and Rose Robinson, nieces of the groom.
PJ Robinson, twin brother and best friend of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Emily Tutle of Charleroi, cousin of the groom; and Stephanie Yuhas of Southview, cousin of the bride.
Ring bearers were Jacob Renk, Austin Heckman and Rocky Renk, nephews of the groom.
Reader was Jill Pezzino of Southview, best friend and neighbor of the bride.
Vocalist was Mandi Roberts, best friend of the bride.
A reception was held at Fairview Sunset Room.
The bride graduated from Fort Cherry High School in 2010 and currently works at Kaleidoscope childcare center. She is working toward her degree in early childhood education to become a certified daycare owner.
The groom graduated from Charleroi High School in 2003 then attended PTI for computer networking. He currently works at Pitt Mon Auto as a driver for car parts.
The couple honeymooned in Ocean City, Md. They make their home in Southview.
