Peters Township Recreation Center will offer Yoga by the Lake at 9 a.m. Saturdays, Sept. 15-Oct. 15, near the shelter at Peters Lake Park for ages 12 and older. Beginners welcome. In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to an alternate location. Bring a yoga mat and towel. Cost per class is $5 for members and $8 for non-members. Jefferson Township Historical Society, Eldersville, will hold its monthly meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday in the White Church building located on Fire Road, across from the fire hall. Historical artifacts will be on display in the church’s museum located in a separate building. Included are a collection of class pictures from the Eldersville grade school and a wall display of old work tools.

A blessing of the pets will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Paris Presbyterian Church, 127 Steubenville Pike, Burgettstown. Veterinarian Dr. Levi Cerminara will administer low cost rabies vaccines. Refreshments will be available. For information, email khalvarez1213@gmail.com.
