Penn State Extension will offer a Food Safety Training Course from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 10 and from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 17, with the certification examination at 1 p.m., at the Washington County Penn State Extension Office. Course fee of $185 per person covers the cost of the ServSafe course book and instructional materials. Crafters and vendors are wanted for Trinity High School’s Helping Hands Third Annual Show, to be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 in the high school cafeteria. The cost for a table reservation is $30 plus an auction item with a minimum value of $25. All proceeds benefit life skills, autistic support and emotional support high school students.
