The Greene County Memorial Hospital Foundation, in conjunction with the Auxiliary of Washington Health System Greene, has awarded $1,000 scholarships to three full-time students from Waynesburg University – Jenna Ricciuti, Susanna Schmelzlen and Emily Ozohonish. All major in nursing and maintain a strong grade point average. They performed a minimum of 50 hours during the fall working with the auxiliary in either the hospital as an escort or at the Cherry Door, and their goal is to continue their work this semester as well. To learn more about the program and eligibility requirements, contact Kelley Hardie, assistant dean of students at Waynesburg University, at 724-852-3461.
