Jefferson-Morgan Lions Club announces February students of the month
Jefferson-Morgan Centennial Lions Club has selected Braylee Pierce and Alexandra Royer as its students of the month for February.
Braylee, the daughter of Tiffany and Kyle Hague of Jefferson and Megan and Mike Pierce of Uniontown, is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School, where she maintains a 3.67 GPA.
She is a member of Science Olympiad, Envirothon, Yearbook Staff, Art Club, and Drama Club. She is Color Guard Captain and band officer for the JM Rocket Band. Braylee studies musical theater at the Center for Performing Arts in Carmichaels. Braylee volunteers at Greene County Humane Society.
In the fall, she will attend California University of Pennsylvania to study business and marketing.
Alexandra, the daughter of Kristina Royer and Charles Royer of Waynesburg, is a senior at Jefferson-Morgan High School, where she maintains a 3.52 GPA.
She is a member of Envirothon, Science Olympiad, Drama Club Art Club. She is a four-year member of the band.
Alexandra helps her community by collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald Foundation. She also helps maintain the school’s courtyard, and she volunteers to pack backpacks for the JM Weekend Food Program.
In the fall, Alexandra plans to attend California University of Pennsylvania where she will study secondary education with a minor in writing.
