California University is hosting a holiday “Eggstravaganza” for the community. From 5 to 7 p.m., children and families can enjoy an egg hunt, crafts, face-painting and more at the Convocation Center, all sponsored by the Center for Volunteer Programs and Service Learning at Cal U. In addition, the family-friendly film “Mary Poppins Returns” will be shown in Vulcan Theatre, located on the first floor of the Natali Student Center. Admission to all activities is free. Reservations are encouraged by April 12 at volunteer@calu.edu or 724-938-4793.

May Day Tea and Floral Design will be offered at 6 p.m. Friday, May 1, at Healthy Habits Training Center located at the Greater Washington County Food Bank, 909 National Pike West, Brownsville. Bring a friend and a handful of flowers for an evening of arranging, tea drinking, swapping, ribbon tying and floral-themed snacks. Prizes will be awarded for the Best Spring Bonnet/Hat. Floral tape, lace, ribbons and more will be supplied. Tea and snacks will be served at 6 followed by floral arranging and more at 6:30. Cost is $15 per person for this all-ages event. NAPO Pittsburgh’s Organizing Symposium “Release-Recycle-Renew: Organizing Tips and Tricks from the Pros” will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 12, at Crowne Plaza-Pittsburgh South, 164 Fort Couch Road, Upper St. Clair. Heaven Bound Ministries will once again present the acclaimed Easter musical passion play “He’s Alive!” Palm Sunday weekend, April 12-14, at the historic Capitol Theatre, 1015 Main Street, Wheeling. Friday and Saturday evening performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Sunday’s matinee is at 3:30 p.m. Doors for each of the free performances open one hour prior to show time. Claysville Christian Church, 128 Church St., will present “The Easter Story” in drama and music at 7 p.m. April 12; 3 p.m. April 13, and 7 p.m. April 14.

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum opens for the season with the Bunny Trolley. Ride a beautifully restored antique trolley to see the Bunny from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 12-14 and 19-20. Ongoing activities include a scavenger hunt, games, a springtime craft activity, Four-Leaf 4-H Club’s live rabbits and a photo opportunity with the Bunny. Admission is $12 for adults, $10 for seniors age 62 and over, and $10 for children ages 1-15. Children under 1 are admitted for free. Admission also includes photo exhibits and self-guided tours of the Trolley Display Building. Tickets can be purchased in advance through the website at www.patrolley.org.
