Friday Faith Cafe will present HeartBeat! in concert from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 12, in the lower level of Faith United Presbyterian Church, 900 E. Beau St., Washington. The group, from Bethel Park, will be presenting contemporary, original and classic praise songs. The show is for all ages and is family friendly. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
Thomas Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four, will host an Easter Egg Hunt for children following the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, April 14. Lunch will be offered in the Christian Life Center located directly behind the church prior to the egg hunt. Children should bring a basket for collecting their eggs. Run as One will take place at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 14, at Cedar Creek Park in Belle Vernon, near Pavilion #7. Sponsored by Team Red, White & Blue, Team Rubicon and The Mission Continues, the race honors Marine Corps veteran Clay Hunt and demonstrates to the world how exercise, community and inclusivity combine to combat mental health challenges. The Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in Room 104 of Courthouse Square. Dr. David Keljo will present a program on “New Zealand and How to Calibrate Your Monitors.”
The Martha Washington Garden Club will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, at Laboratory Presbyterian Church, 33 Manse St., Washington. The meeting follows a light lunch. The program is, “It is a Hodgepodge,” a sharing of ideas and information from some of the members, and includes May Day baskets, orchids and fairgrounds gardens. The public is welcome to attend.
