Through the funding of Crown Castle, the Fred Rogers Center for Early Learning and Children’s Media has provided Check-Out Tech kits for the community in Washington County. These kits serve as a learning opportunity for librarians to serve as media mentors to support early childhood educators. The STEM kits include an iPad with pre-loaded apps, books and hands-on activities, including Dash robot, Cubetto, Keva planks and an electronic blocks circuit kit. These kits will be available for check-out to be used as STEM resources in classrooms, homeschool co-ops and by families. For more information or to attend, call 724-222-2400, ext. 4.
