Attention crafters: Reservations are now being taken for the Saturday, April 6 spring craft fair at Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park. There will be wide aisles for browsing, abundant parking and free admission. Proceeds benefit PrimeTime Adult Care, a nonprofit organization offering medical supervision and physical and mental stimulation of the frail elderly or those with Alzheimer’s disease. Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra will hold a mid-season concert at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Heinz Hall. The program will include “Supermaximum” by Kenji Bunch, “Mother Goose Suite” by Maurice Ravel and “Enigma Variations” by Edward Elgar. Jefferson Township Historical Society, Eldersville, will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, Feb. 16, in the White Church building located on Fire Road across from the fire hall. Guest speaker will be Abraham Lincoln impersonator Jim Crouse, who will focus on Lincoln’s 210th birthday. The program will be at 10 a.m. A short business meeting and refreshments will follow. The Historical Society’s Museum will be open after the meeting.
The monthly meeting of the Mon Valley Coin Club will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at 303 Chamber Plaza, Charleroi. The program will be on silver certificates.
