Gov. Tom Wolf announced Monday afternoon that funding through the Keystone Communities program had been approved for 43 revitalization projects across the state.

A project in Washington will be one of the recipients. The state is providing $196,420 toward the redevelopment of the Washington Trust Building, at the intersection of South Main and East Beau streets. The ongoing project entails converting the building into a mixed-use structure with commercial offices, retail and affordable housing units.

The Keystone Communities program is administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development.
