An all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, at First Christian Church, 615 E. Beau Street, Washington. The menu will include spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, salad, Italian bread, drink and homemade dessert. Cost is $10 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-12. Children age 4 and younger are free. An all-you-can-eat breakfast will be offered from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Masonic Center, 44 W. Wheeling Street (rear door), Washington. The menu will include eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon, hash browns, juice, coffee and tea. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children ages 5-12. Children 4 and younger are free.

Line dancing is held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at the Chartiers Township Community Center located next to Chartiers-Houston High School. Oldies, country, Latin and contemporary music is featured, and all levels are welcome. Cost is $30 for a six-week sessions, or drop in for $8. The Mon Valley NAACP will hold its installation of officer’s lunch at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Baptist Church, 49 South McKean Avenue, Donora. Following lunch will be the branch’s annual meeting, where we will recap 2018 and begin the ascertainment of 2019 strategic initiatives addressing equal rights, economic progress, law enforcement and voting rights.

The Jackie Banks Memorial Scrapbooker’s Getaway Weekend 2 will be held Feb. 1-3, 2019, at the Doubletree by Hilton in Washington. Meals, overnight accommodations and crop space are included, and a daycropper option is available.
