Palko – Bonnet
Lisa and Michael Bonnet of Eighty Four announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah, to Joel Palko, son of Nancy and Robert Palko of Latrobe.
Sarah is the granddaughter of Mary Ellen and the late Cecil Rutkowski of Eighty Four, and Lillian and the late Adrien (Babe) Bonnet of McDonald.
Joel’s grandparents are the late Bill and Rose Palko, and the late John and Betty Magyar.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio, and West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, W.Va. She is currently completing a radiology residency at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Centre and will begin a Women’s Imaging Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Magee-Women’s Hospital.
The future groom is a graduate of Greater Latrobe High School, Carnegie Mellon University and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed a ophthalmology residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Mo., and is currently completing a Glaucoma Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
An August wedding is planned.
