Hillberry – 50 years
Larry and Linda Hillberry of Amity celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past summer with a family trip to Canaan Valley, W.Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Hillberry were married May 4, 1968, at Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Church.
Their children are Stacey Rush and Shelly Pellen, both of Amity.
Their grandchildren are James and Judd Pellen, and Harley and Paige Haney.
Mr. Hillberry served in the Army in the Vietnam War, 1966-1967, receiving the Purple Heart award. He was employed by Plasteel Products and Milcraft Industries, retiring from Milcraft Industries in 2009.
Mrs. Hillberry was self employed for many years.
They have both dedicated much time to the Lower Ten Mile Presbyterian Church and the Amwell Township VFD. They are currently active with several veteran’s organizations.
