Leckie – Carpenter
Jessica Carpenter and Alex Leckie, both of Dillsburg, announce their engagement.
Jessica is the daughter of Gary and Theresa Carpenter of Stoystown. Her grandparents are the late Gerald and Josephine Carpenter, and the late Henry and Virginia Soha.
Alex’s parents are J. Scott and Patricia A. Leckie of Washington. He is the grandson of Betty and the late Joseph B. Leckie, and Betty and the late George Lomago.
The bride-to-be graduated from North Star High School in 2003, Allegany College of MD in 2008 and Penn State University in 2014. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing administration and leadership through Walden University. Jessica is a registered nurse at Penn State Hersey Medical Center and nursing clinical instructor for Harrisburg Area Community College.
Her fiance graduated from Trinity High School in 2003, Washington & Jefferson College in 2007, Penn State University College of Medicine in 2013, and Anesthesiology Residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in 2017. He is a full-time anesthesiologist at Chambersburg Hospital and a part-time anesthesiologist at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
A June 29 wedding is planned.
