Washington Health System’s Washington Hospital Auxiliary presented a check for $1,528.60 to the Brownson House. The funds were raised at the auxiliary’s 2018 Brunch with Santa event. The proceeds will be split between the Brownson House and the Vernon C. Neal Sportsplex to benefit children who use the facilities. The auxiliary hosts community sales on a variety of items, including sneakers, bedding, jewelry and more, in which proceeds are donated back into the local community and/or health system.
