Washington County Parks and Recreation Department will offer a morning yoga session at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, in the park office at Mingo Creek Park. This is an introductory class, but all skill levels are invited to participate. The class will be led by a certified yoga instructor. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel. There is a $5 fee for the program. Preregistration is required by calling 724-228-6867.

Lungs at Work, an award-winning nonprofit federal black lung clinic located in McMurray, will sponsor an outreach event from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 22, at the United Mine Workers of America (UMWA) Local 1197 office, 20 North Main Street, Ellsworth. Health assessments, pulmonary screenings, pulse oximetry testing, benefits counseling and assistance with federal Black Lung applications will be offered to coal miners who may have black lung disease. Appointments are required by calling Lungs at Work at 724-941-1650. Insurance cards must be presented. For more information, call 724-941-1650.

A spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Claysville Christian Church. In addition to spaghetti, there will be salad, garlic toast, dessert and beverage. Cost is a donation. Takeout will be available.
