Registration for children who will be entering kindergarten in the Burgettstown Area School District in the 2019-2020 school year, as well as those children entering school in first grade for the first time, will be held on the following dates: Wednesday, March 27 – children whose last names begin with A to M; Thursday, March 28 – children whose last names begin with N to Z.

Registration will be held at the Burgettstown Area Elementary Center, 100 Bavington Road, from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Stop in to register during the above hours at your convenience. Parents must bring official birth certificate, immunization records and three forms of residency verification to the registration.

It is not necessary for the child to accompany the parent/guardian for registration. At this time, only paperwork will be completed with the school secretary and school nurse. Tours of the building and meeting the teachers will occur at a later date.

Children must be 5 years of age by Aug. 31 to enter kindergarten. Call the elementary principal’s office at 724-947-8150 with questions.
