The Charleroi Area School District will hold kindergarten registration from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 21, in the Alumni Room located next to the auxiliary gym above the stadium.

To be eligible for kindergarten, a child must be five years of age on or before July 31, 2019. Parents should bring the following documents to registration: child’s birth certificate, proof of residency – either a current utility or cell phone bill with parent’s name and address (or one belonging to the person with whom the parent resides), lease or deed; driver’s license/state-issued photo ID; immunization records.

On the first day of school, unless a child has a medical or religious/philosophical exemption, a child must have had at least one dose of the required vaccinations or risk exclusion.

Children eligible for first grade who are not already attending the Charleroi Elementary Center may register at the same time. Birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency will be required.
