A Peters Township High School graduate is among 17 incoming freshmen who have been awarded the prestigious Bethany College Presidential Scholarship, and is among six incoming freshmen selected to join the Bethany College Honors Program. Through the Presidential Scholarship, Lauren Starr of Venetia, daughter of Steve and Debbie Starr, will receive a full-tuition scholarship. She also will receive a $23,000 annual scholarship through the Honors Program.
A Bethlehem-Center High School graduate is among 17 incoming freshmen to receive the prestigious Bethany College Presidential Scholarship, and is among six incoming freshmen selected to join the Bethany College Honors Program. Through the Presidential Scholarship, Ian Nelson of Monongahela, son of David and Amy Nelson, will receive a full-tuition scholarship. He also will receive a $23,000 annual scholarship through the Honors Program.
A McGuffey High School graduate is among six incoming freshmen selected to join the Bethany College Honors Program. Paisley Travis of West Finley, daughter of Mindy and Gary Travis, will receive a $23,000 annual scholarship through the program.
A Trinity High School graduate is among 17 incoming freshmen who have been awarded the prestigious Bethany College Presidential Scholarship. Kevin (Drew) VonScio of Washington, son of Kevin and Marcy VonScio, will receive a tull-tuition scholarship.
Alex J. Rutherford graduated cum laude from Xavier University in Cincinnati on May 18. He is the son of Doug and Ann Rutherford of Center Township and grandson of Gordon and Cicely Rutherford of Rostraver.
