Air Force Airman Austin Hollenbank graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Austin achieved Thunderbolt status, which is honor graduate status, on the PT test. His flight also achieved Commander’s Excellence, which is the highest honor a flight can receive. Austin completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate’s degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Austin is the son of Jodi Moebus of Canonsburg and Todd Hollenbank of Girard, Ohio. He is a 2017 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
