Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a Needle and Yarn Craft Workshop beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Shelter 4, Mingo Creek County Park. This month, participants will be completing a chalkboard paint craft. June is also the Annual Needle and Yarn Picnic. Participants are asked to bring along their favorite covered dish. Refreshments and grilled hot dogs will be provided for a fee of $4. Pre-registration is required by calling the Washington County Parks and Recreation office at 724-228-6867.

Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation is offering Yoga in the Park at 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Shelter 10 in Mingo Creek County Park. This is an introductory yoga class, and people of all skill levels are welcome to participate. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat or a beach towel. Pre-registration is required and can be made by calling the Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation at 724-228-6867. There is a $5 fee for this program.
