Charleroi Area Ministerial Association (CAMA) announces Lenten services at 7 p.m. at the following churches:

First Christian Church (DOC), 61 Walnut Ridge Road, Sunday, March 10, with Pastor Beverly Gross

City Reach Church, Sunday, March 17, with Father Bob Hanna of St. Mary’s Anglican Church

First United Methodist Church, 601 Lincoln Ave., Sunday, March 24, with Pastor Greg Anders

St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 509 6th Street, Sunday, March 31, with Pastor Charles Cochran of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 327 Washington Ave., Sunday, April 7, with Pastor Frank Zeman of Mid Mon Valley Lutheran Parish

n There will be no CAMA service on Palm Sunday, April 14.

n This year’s CAMA Good Friday service will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Speers United Methodist Church, 810 Jane Ave, Charleroi.

Emmanuel U.P. Church located at 480 Route 519 in Eighty Four will hold Ash Wednesday services at noon and 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 6. Both Services will feature distribution of ashes, and communion will be celebrated. For information, call 724-222-7488.

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) will hold Ash Wednesday service at 7:30 p.m. March 6. For information, call 724-489-9014 or email fccCharleroi@gmail.com.

Thomas Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four, will begin the season of Lent with a 6:30 p.m. Ash Wednesday service on March 6 in the Sanctuary. A Lenten study for adults, “He Chose the Nails: What God Did to Win Your Heart” by Max Lucado, will be held at 9:15 a.m. Sundays, March 10 through Easter Sunday, April 21 in the Fellowship Hall. A Lenten study, “24 Hours That Changed the World,” will be offered for children ages 3 through 11 during the children’s Sunday school time beginning at 10:30 a.m. The church is located at 1068 Linden Road.
