The Washington Hospital Auxiliary will hold a Uniform, Shoe and Accessory Sale from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, March 7 and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 8, in the Community Room.
The Monongahela chapter of The Mary & Martha Joy Fellowship of Come Together in Jesus Name will resume monthly meetings on Thursday, March 7 in the parlor of The First Presbyterian Church of Monongahela located at the corner of Sixth, Main and Chess streets (enter from the Chess Street side). Refreshments and fellowship begin at 6:30 p.m. with the meeting at 7. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Tom Ravasio, associate pastor of Journey by Grace Free Methodist Church in Rostraver Township and founder/director of the nonprofit Shekinah Western Camp Ranch in Charleroi. Claysville Volunteer Firemen’s Auxiliary is selling Italian Hoagies for $4 each. Call Barb at 724-663-7353 by Thursday, March 7 to place an order. Hoagies will be available for pickup between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. March 12, at the fire hall located at 154 Main Street. Rada Cutlery will also be available for purchase.
Accepting table reservations and donated items for the March 9 eventAn indoor yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at the Center Township Fire Hall in Rogersville. Table space is available at a cost of $10 per table. The Auxiliary will accept donations of “sellable” items. Food and drinks will also be sold by the Auxiliary. A community dinner will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 7, at Liberty United Methodist Church, 1330 Banetown Road, Washington. The menu includes creamed chicken and biscuit, mashed potatoes, green beans, coleslaw or fruit, dessert and beverage. A free-will offering will be accepted and proceeds will benefit local charities and church ministries. Carryout is available. For information, call 724-222-7180.
