In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday and Reading Across America Day, The Primrose School of Peters Township’s Pre-K room celebrated by reading Dr. Seuss books and creating colorful Lorax masks. They will continue honoring literacy on March 20 when author Joe Moore, a native of Pittsburgh, stops by for a visit. Moore wrote the children’s books “Maxwell, the Raindrop Who Wouldn’t Fall” and “Am I Still Me?” He will share his inspiration for his stories and read to the children. Primrose’s Bountiful Books fundraiser this month was donated to Reading is FUNdamental Pittsburgh.
