Table revenue up, total revenue down at Meadows

Revenue results were a mixed bag at the Meadows Casino in February, according to a report Friday from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

Table games revenue at the North Strabane Township gaming venue last month jumped about $324,000 from January, from $3,270,551 to $3,594,232 – a 9.90 percent increase. The Meadows was one of four of Pennsylvania’s 12 casinos to post a table games gain over the month.

But total revenue there, including that from slot machines play, declined 0.88 percent in February – from $20,376,524 in January to $20,197,807. (Table game results were reported earlier.)

The state’s casinos posted minimal increases in February table games revenue (0.33 percent) and total revenue (0.44 percent). Table revenue was $73,999,311 last month, up from $73,757,805. Total revenue increased from $262,813,999 in January to $263,975,463.

Rivers Casino, on Pittsburgh’s North Shore, experienced an 8.28 percent increase in table games revenue last month to $6,543,270 (from $6,042,930). Rivers’ total gaming revenue likewise bumped upward, from $28,641,460 to $30,017,963 (4.81 percent).

Lady Luck Casino Nemacolin, in Fayette County, pulled in $309,828 in February table revenue, down 14.87 percent from $363,941. Lady Luck’s total revenue dropped 14.18 percent over the month, from $2,620,922 to $2,249,233.
