Russell – 63 years
Fred and Linda Russell of Washington will celebrate their 63rd wedding anniversary with a quiet dinner and cake with their great-grandchildren in their apartment at Hawthorne Woods.
Mr. and Mrs. Russell were married March 21, 1956, at Linda’s Prosperity home.
Their children are: Ronald (Donna) Russell of Prosperity, Rebecca (James) Cox of Waynesburg and Randy Russell of Avella.
Their grandchildren are: Michelle Markley, Danielle Russell, Melissa Cox, Melody Cox, Hannah Puskarich and Amy Russell. They have two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Russell worked at J&L Steel for 33 years and was a lifelong farmer of Hereford cattle on his Prosperity farm. He is a Korean War veteran.
Mrs. Russell was a homemaker and farmer, devoted to her children and grandchildren. She also raised granddaughter Michelle as well.
