Trinity North holds Pennies for Patients fundraiser

Trinity North Elementary students raised $2,043 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with their Pennies for Patients fundraiser, exceeding a goal of $1,500. The fundraiser was especially important because a North student, Ashton Stein, has been battling the disease for several years. He is doing well and has only one year left of treatment. Pictured is Deanna Kelley’s second-grade class, which raised the most donations to help find a cure for blood cancers. Ashton is standing in the middle with the Superman stance, along with substitute principal, Eric Lauver, and Kelley.
