Daniel Tiger coming to trolley museum

The Pennsylvania Trolley Museum will welcome Daniel Tiger from the hit PBS KIDS series “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood” for two special weekends.

Guests are encouraged to bring their cameras for photo opportunities and to take a ride on a beautifully restored antique trolley to see Daniel Tiger from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, May 10-12 and May 17-19.

Ongoing activities will include meeting adopted pets from PetSearch, a PBS Kids outreach table, children’s games and complimentary refreshments. The event is sponsored by Washington County Tourism.

Admission is $15 for adults and children ages 1 to 15, and $13 for seniors 62 and older. Children younger than 1 will be admitted free. Admission also includes an introductory film on the trolley era, photo exhibits and guided tours of the trolley display building. Check the museum’s website for special Friday ticket prices.
