Town and Country Garden Club of Rices Landing presented a $1,000 scholarship to Joseph Kurincak, who is graduating from Carmichaels Area High School. Kurincak, who ranks fourth in his class of 61 students, maintained a 3.982 GPA and will attend Penn State University, where he will major in environmental systems engineering. He has participated in several academic organizations, including Envirothon, National Honor Society, Academic League and Quarterbacks for Life.
