Burgettstown woman named homecoming queen at West Liberty

West Liberty University students selected Emily Bender and Daron Weekley, as Homecoming Queen and King for 2019 during festivities Saturday at West Family Stadium.

The crowning ceremony took place at halftime during a football game against Concord University. The Hilltoppers won, 47-6.

Bender, a daughter of Debbie and Michael Bender, is a human biology major from Burgettstown. Weekley is a senior from Sistersville, W.Va.
